Today Netti gained
her fifth CAC by winning Best Opposite Sex under judge Rui Oliveira
from Portugal. The show was held in Kongsberg, Norway.

Netti did it again!
At todays show in Letohallen, Norway, Netti became Best Bitch with
CAC, and became Best Opposite Sex! The judge was John Muldoon from
Ireland.

in Letohallen, Norway. Judge was Britt Schøne Brodwall from Norway.
Netti did her very best, and the judge said she "moved like a
prinsess of the desert" and gave her excellent with CAC and even
Best Of Breed! We are so proud!

This weekend we travelled to
Laholm in Sweden on a lure coursing competition. Netti did it
again! She became # 6 out of 33 salukis,
and gained her first Swedish lure
coursing CAC.

Saluki Specialty September 4th
Judge; Ken Allan, Jazirat Salukis, GB
Isis' offspring; Caravan Brins Khamsin ibn Bahiim became best
dog in intermediate class with excellent, and became Best Dog
Reserve with CAC! He also became BIS Intermediate. Caravan Baheejah
became Best Bitch in Intermediate class with excellent, became
BOS Intermediate and was also qualified to the final in BIS Head and
Expression. These two, together with Netti and Caravan Yaz
Yaminah, placed as BIS 2nd in Breeders Class with Prize of
Honour.
Netti; she became Best Bitch 3rd in Intermediate class with
excellent, was qualified to the final in BIS Head and expression, and together with her sister Caravan Baheejah, she also
became BIS Couple!
Tia; she became Best Bitch 4th in Open class with excellent,
and was qualified to the final in BIS Movement!
Isis; she became Best Bitch 2nd in Working Class with
excellent!
Fant; he became BIS monorchid with an excellent critique;
"Balanced head. Well muscled neck. Good lay back of shoulder. Deep
brisket. Strong quarters. Over all a dog of quality"
In other words, we had a great day!

Today Netti had her
debute on the Lure Coursing field, and WHAT A DEBUTE! She was nr. 1
after the first race, and with a fantastic run together with Egils
sister Caravan Afaia al'Hambra in the second race, she held her
position on top of the list. In other words, she became Best of
Breed, with CAC and CACIL, and she also became Best in Field with
her 89p! WOW!! And it doesn't end here. She recieved the price from
the Norwegian Saluki Club for "Best Saluki", and she also
became "Beauty and Performance Saluki 2010", a prize donated by
Michael Behrmann. Her sire Caravan Ustura Bahiim won this same prize
in 2008!

Netti was shown in
Drammen today, and this time Bente was the lucky handler. Netti
knows how to show herself, and she got excellent, CAC and became
Best Bitch 2nd! This was her second CAC this summer, and we are so
proud of this little princess!

We are proud to announce a
new lure coursing licens in our pack! Last Wednesday Netti
had her last test run approved by judge Steinar Mathisen.

We have some show news from
the last weekends.
At Exporama 7th of August, Trixie was shown in veteran class.
This was her first show in 4 years, and without any training or
preparations, she went Best Veteran of Breed! Judge was Turid Helene
Stamnes. At the same show, Isis' son Caravan Brins Khamsin
ibn Bahiim, Khamsin, became best male in junior class with
excellent and prize of honour. Judge was Bjørg Foss. Well done
Khamsin and Milla!
This weekend, 14th of August, Nettie was shown at the
Norwegian Kennel Club international show at Bjerke, Oslo. She became
best bitch in intermediate class with excellent and prize of honour.
Judge was Anne Macdonald.

We are so proud! Netti
and Tia
entered a show in Moss, Norway, today, and they did great. First,
Netti won the CAC and became Best Bitch from junior class, and she also became Best of Breed! Tia became
Best Bitch 3rd. After hours of waiting,
it was finally ready for the group competition. Sweet little Netti
became Best in Group 3rd, out of 7 beautiful sighthounds! What a day!
Judge, both breed and group, was Allan Pepper from Canada.

Isis' son Ole, Caravan Barraq Bi Afking,
was shown at the SCOA - National Saluki Specialty, Lexington,
Kentucky, USA this year, June 9th to June 12th.
In the Sweepstakes 15-18 months, he placed 3rd.
Judge; Ms Jean Rhodes.
In the Nationals Dog Classes 12-18 months, he placed 2nd out of 20
entries. Judge; Mr Jean Louis Grünheid, France

Isis is very proud of
her children! Three of them have started their lure coursing career,
and they have all done very good. Both Netti and Barry,
Caravan Barriq Barudi,
have now two approved test runs each, while Khamsin, Caravan Brins Khamsin Ibn Bahiim, has one
approved test run.

Happy birthday to Isis'
babies! 1 year old today.
Egil entered a show in Eidsvoll today, and he did well. He
got an excellent and prize of honour from intermediate class, and
was only beaten by the dog who became BOS. Judge of the day was
Eli-Marie Klepp from Norway.

Big news from Canada today!
Isis' son Caravan Barraq Bi Afking "Ole" is now a Canadian Champion,
one week before his first birthday! Big congratulations to his owner
Alan Ewles, Afking salukis. We are so happy for "our" little Ole!

We are very proud of our
Lure Coursing salukis Fant and Isis. They both gained
high placements among the Lure Coursing Salukis of the year 2009 in
Norway. Fant became #3, and he was best male! Isis
became #4.

Some old news (sorry for the
late update...!). We are proud to announce that Isis' son Caravan
Brins Khamsin Ibn Bahiim, "Khamsin", and his owner Eva Stav
achieved the Bronze Mark in obedience in the beginning of December.
Khamsin's father, Caravan Usturah Bahiim, also achieved the Bronze
Mark in obedience before one year of age. Such clever dogs!
